Our Story
Food has always been part of my story.
Growing up in a Greek family, my fondest memories were made in the kitchen, learning the recipes, traditions, and stories passed down through generations. Food wasn’t simply something we ate. It was how we connected, showed hospitality, and kept family traditions alive.
As a child, I would set up pretend cooking shows in the kitchen, narrating recipes and dreaming of sharing my love of food with others someday. Looking back, it was an early glimpse of what would eventually become The Olive Branch Experience.
Many of the recipes I learned were born from humble beginnings. What once sustained previous generations through war and difficult times has become a treasured connection to my heritage today.
My love of food continued through years spent working in my family’s restaurant and summers in Greece, learning directly from my relatives. Over the years, travel, cooking classes abroad, and opportunities to work alongside chefs in professional settings have continued to expand my culinary skills and deepen my appreciation for food, culture, and the way they bring people together.
Along the way, my work planning and creating events taught me that the most memorable gatherings are about more than what’s on the menu. The atmosphere, the flow, and the thoughtful details all shape the experience and how people feel when they’re there.
The Olive Branch Experience brings those pieces together—a lifelong love of cooking, the Greek heritage and traditions that shaped me, and everything I’ve learned along the way. It’s the natural culmination of the things I’ve loved throughout my life, all rooted in the warmth and generosity of Greek hospitality.
